About Me

Ashtyn Kiana is an indie author whose debut novel, Always Been Yours, released in September 2024. Her day job doesn’t leave a lot of room for creativity, so she started writing her first novel as a way to express that side of herself. Ashtyn writes love stories that are heartfelt, emotional, and swoony with a good helping of spice! When she’s not writing, she’s probably walking her dogs, making macrame, or at a local coffee shop.

The Amada Beach Series

One person. One moment. One kiss.

That's all it took to change everything.

GRADY MILLER

Genevieve “Vivi” Davies and I used to be best friends, but it was always more than that. Not only was she the first girl I kissed—and loved—but she was my greatest lesson in realizing that our actions have consequences.

But I’m not that boy who broke her heart anymore. I’m divorced. A former college baseball player. A single dad.

Moving back to my hometown and building a new life with my two daughters brings more than a few challenges. And while I missed my family and the sense of community, I don’t know how she feels about me coming back. It doesn’t take long for Vivi and I to cross paths… and when we do, I’m reminded that Genevieve Davies isn’t just the girl next door. She never has been.

GENEVIEVE DAVIES

I haven’t seen Grady Miller in eight years. I’d heard—and could feel all eyes on me as the news spread—that he was moving back home.

I never could’ve imagined his daughters waltzing right into my classroom, and my life, without a warning. But here they are, leaving the literal door wide open for Grady to follow closely behind.

Only my luck would land me in the position of having to plan a semester long fundraiser with him. As we work closer together, the years we spent apart slowly melt away. Years of miscommunications and silence suddenly seem unimportant in comparison to the feelings that come roaring back. But we aren’t kids anymore and there’s infinitely more on the line this time around.

With all of these new changes, will Grady and I be able to move beyond the past and figure out if we have a future?

He wasn’t what I was looking for,

but we could be exactly what the other needs.

ADRIAN JONES

Moving to Amada Beach was meant to be temporary. I’d finish my D.V.M. at one of the best programs in the country, then decide where I wanted to start my career.

What I never saw coming–at the grocery store no less–was the pretty girl with the lightning gray eyes who didn’t even give me a second glance. But when a month passes and there’s no sign of her, my new job at the vet clinic is the last place I expected to see her again.

The more she allows me to see, the more I’m charmed by Blake, and this little town she loves.

BLAKE MILLER

There’s this feeling of being stuck that’s plagued me most of my life, whether it’s due to bullies in school or being unsure of my plans for the future. It’s always been there.

When the best of intentions leads to some questionable choices, the vision for my future slowly starts to come into focus. Maybe there is a career for me at the vet clinic that doesn’t involve medicine after all.

And it’s no coincidence that these changes are happening after meeting Adrian, the carefree, sunshine-personified man who was hired by my father as the new vet assistant.

The Briarhollow Series

Fates That Bind ebook cover.jpg

Most of Renata Blackthorn’s life has been spent hiding–avoiding her mother’s cruelty, ashamed of her powerful spirit magic, and dreaming of escaping from her childhood home. As the only gray witch in a family of green witches, she’s always been an outsider. But the Blackthorn family curse, which afflicts those born with spirit magic, only makes her feel more isolated.

When a letter arrives from a late great-aunt, Renata inherits the eerie, crumbling Dreaming Willow Inn… Alongside it comes a warning: she’s the only one who can end the madness.

There are many places she has dreamed of running away to, but the inn where the curse started was one she hoped to avoid in every lifetime. Until it becomes a beacon of hope.

Once she steps foot on its grounds, fate stirs. So do the ghosts of her family’s past.

Renata quickly learns how the curse affects more than just her bloodline and its ability to give her everything she’s ever wanted—or take it all away, including her newfound coven and the man she never expected to meet in person, Archer Vexley.

After a decade of only finding him while sleeping, Archer is in Briarhollow with just as many ancestral ties to the Dreaming Willow Inn as she has. Not only that, he’s determined to learn more about the woman from his dreams.

Renata never thought she would meet him in person, or have a coven of her own. Now that she has everything, she won’t let fate rip it away.
