Content Warnings

Below you can find a list of all content warnings for my books (possible SPOILERS below). While my goal is to write heartfelt and rich stories, I always want to put my readers' wellbeing first. If you find something that I have not noted or want to know more about one of my books, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

  • Multiple explicit open-door scenes between the main characters. These contain on-page sexual content in graphic detail. Turn the page to find out which chapters to be aware of.

  • Multiple discussions about divorce and co-parenting between ex-spouses. Some of these conversations involve the children but are mostly had between adults.

  • Mentions of cheating and toxic behaviors from a past relationship. None of this is between the main characters and it is not seen on page.

  • Mentions of death of a parent. It is brief and it does not happen on the page. Genevieve’s father passed away when she was a young child but it is talked about.

  • Brief mentions of bullying. It’s neither shown on page nor detailed.

  • Multiple mentions of bullying during secondary school. There are in-depth conversations regarding what the FMC has faced, and the bullies are seen on page.

  • Mental health, therapy, and medication are big parts of the story and the FMC’s journey. However, these topics also touch on the veterinary field, and the specific struggles that are faced in the career.

  • Conversations about death and ending one's own life.

  • Mentions of physical and emotional abuse by a parent (emotional abuse is briefly shown).

  • A main character who struggles with undiagnosed clinical depression.

  • Mentions of infidelity (not between the main characters.

  • A man character who has hallucinations due to her family's curse.

  • Multiple explicit open-door scenes between the main characters. These contain on-page sexual content in graphic detail.

  • Multiple deaths are shown on page.
